Privacy Policy

The app
PlotFable works entirely on your Mac. It has no account, no servers and no analytics.
- Your stories are saved in
.plotfablefiles in the place you choose. If you choose a synced folder such as iCloud Drive, that service's own privacy terms apply to the copy it keeps. - Pictures you add to characters and places are stored inside the story file, on your Mac.
- Preferences (such as whether the welcome window opens at launch) are kept on your Mac by macOS.
- No data is collected: PlotFable does not track you, does not use advertising identifiers, and makes no network requests.
If you buy PlotFable from the Mac App Store, Apple handles the purchase under its own privacy policy. We receive no personal information about you from Apple beyond the anonymous sales figures it reports to all developers.
This website
This website uses no cookies and no tracking. Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running; we do not use them to identify you.
If you write to us
If you email us for support, we use your message and address only to reply, and we do not share them.
